The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) is an American multinational consumer goods corporation headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, founded in 1837 by William Procter and James Gamble. It specializes in a wide range of personal health/consumer health, and personal care and hygiene products; these products are organized into several segments including Beauty; Grooming; Health Care; Fabric & Home Care; and Baby, Feminine, & Family Care. Before the sale of Pringles to Kellogg's, its product portfolio also included foods, snacks, and beverages. P&G is incorporated in Ohio.
An angry customer said this about their marketing strategies in a review "I will always rate a company negatively when they buy my information and spams me with email. I never signed up for your emails Procter & Gamble! If you'd like to gain me as a customer or build your brand awareness, I suggest tactics that don't involve spamming people. Our emails are essential in this age and shouldn't be blasted unless we've given permission. There's a reason that laws were enacted to prevent this on with phones/calls, because it's invasion of privacy. Just because there isn't a law against this doesn't mean it's morally right."

Line Lead (Former Employee) says"At first I was excited to start as a lead here but then I noticed they were not doing things by code and when I spoke up about it the next day my supervisor told my temp agency that I quit. Please be cautious when applying to work here management is terrible and I have not met any employee that has work there more than 6 months I should have took that as a sign. If you like working in a dysfunctional and mismanaged workplace then this is the job for you."

If you work for a company the they just took over, beware, your days are numbered. They like to have their people in place and try to force out anyone who has been with that company for a long time. Just ask anyone who worked for the Noxell Corporation, Old Spice or Gillette. They strip a company of things they want and dump the rest on someone else."

Management is a joke, lines are being managed by young men/women who have just graduated college (with no prior management skills), training is mediocre, and the only way to progress is to stab your coworkers in the back."

On the first day of orientation every thing went well on my second day at exactly 11:45am I was call in a private meeting room only for this people to tell me the dont need me no more. Firstly the job description was different from what you are expected to do and the title of the job was not what the required you to do"

No real managment structure. Little training but expect you to know the job. Blame game all the time between employees and mgmt. Company only cares about one thing - profit. Closing best plants and teminating good employees for bottom line."

False promises is the motivation used to push production. Forced a strong female employee to take classes on being a less "aggressive" in order to recieve the pay that came with her promotion. Three months without that pay. HR is in bed with management so if a worker has a problem and reports it to HR, it gets swept under the carpet. 2 separate occasions experienced heavy veterans discrimination and in order to keep me quiet hr gives promotion and moves me to a quiet place far away from making any noise about the discrimination. There is way to much to type on here......DON'T DO THIS JOB.....just save yourself now!"

Even if it’s months without pay as in my case. I applied for a forklift position and was placed into a case pick position. Overtime is mandatory regardless if you’ve worked seven days for 10-12 hours. They will make it your fault that you took covid leave and refuse to pay you on a technicality by which you must prove your case in order to Receive pay. Any disability will be broadcasted basically for everyone to know. If you need a break or to leave because of your disability your are spoken down to with an audience usually. After I quit I still have yet to see my final paycheck weeks later."
Current Employee - Production Lead says"I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than a year Cons: Management constantly lie about almost everything. No promotions allowed at the Dayton mixing center. Rotating shift keep everyone in a zombie like state. Pay is low for the amount of responsibility. Your quarterly evaluation is destroyed due to unrealistic goals (management acknowledges that the goals are impossible to achieve, but wont change them). That then use said goals to show that you are not worthy of advancement. Any higher positions that may become available are filled with preselected (yes men). This is a highly physical job so you will be sore having to stand all day on concrete floors. Sitting down for a few minutes is strictly forbidden so there are lots of foot injuries with employees . Beware, HR will lie to your face about what the job is to get you in the door. 3 of the last 4 people they manage to hire quit during there second week because the job was not what they were told it would be."

Current Employee - Shift Leader says"I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 10 years Cons: Where do we start? Managers think they know everything and they don't, lets speed up the lines for more throughput of product but lets not fix the issues with the lines themselves, lets cut staffing on the lines while we speed it up and have issues. Lets move someone with an engineering background into a supply chain leader role who knows absolutely nothing about the position. Then takes advice from a line leader (a line leader that is only in that position because they threw everyone under the bus to get themselves there and takes credit for everyone else's ideas. "cost savings" is a joke,(because our multi-billion dollar brands and not to mention Procter and Gamble as a company makes how many billions a year?) technicians can't do this or get that because it costs too much and we're trying to save millions while managers go on thousand dollar excursions across the pound to Europe for "benchmarking" . Retirement is now down to 9% while they are making billions and management is getting millions of dollars in bonus'. Do they want there workers working till they die? Pay and progression system, where do we start with that, it'll take you 15 years minimum to get fully paid? or how you know longer have incentive to learn quickly? You're stuck at a pay level for 2.5 years that you should honestly get to before your year probation is even up. And you wonder why people are leaving and going to other companies."

Mike says"Clorox bleach used to whiten, disinfect, and clean. P&G has ruined a good product. The bleach doesn’t smell good anymore and clothes don’t look whiter. What a shame. Seems watered down and dull now."

Welshwoman says"I recently bought some Olay Regenerist advanced anti ageing night cream. I removed the jar from the cardboard box, unscrewed the top and then attempted to remove the plastic cover from the cream. It was impossible. The next morning, my husband attempted to open it, but only succeeded in separating the plastic inner shell from the jar. Eventually he pierced a hole in the plastic cover to try and break any air lock, but even this has not succeeded in making the plastic cover on the cream removable. I tried to feed my problems back to Procter and Gamble but, like a previous poster on this site, found it impossible to do so via their website. My problem has made me extremely disinclined to buy any more Procter and Gamble products."
